The Fortnite update 7.40 lets you get the upcoming Season 8 Battle Pass for free. Those who own season 7 battle pass, the Overtime Challenge rewards will include new unlockable styles for the Trog, Powder, and Onesie outfits. The offer is available from Feb. 14, the day of patch v7.40’s release, until Feb. 27, the day before season 7 ends. So guys, complete as many of the Overtime challenges as you can to unlock next season’s battle pass.
A post from Fortnite developer Epic Games read, “Everyone who completes 13 free Overtime Challenges by February 27 will receive the upcoming Season Battle Pass for free”. Additionally, “If you don’t have an outfit, now is your chance to get several for free. With the Battle Pass, you’ll receive two Season 8 Outfits instantly and you can earn up to five more.”
How To Get Fortnite Season 8 Battle Pass For Free?
You have to complete 13 overtime challenges, although there are 20 in number, first set of challenge is available right now. The initial batch asks you to collect coins in the Creative Islands. To collect coins you have to seek out ammo boxes or treasure chests and drop onto the island as a duo and place in the top 15. You’ll also unlock skins, once you complete challenges, from Fortnite Season 7 at the five, 10, and 15 challenge mark.
List Of Challenges Which Helps You Earn Battle Pass For Free
For now, only five challenges are available. However, more challenges will go live in the coming days. The list of challenges available right now are:
- Collect Coins in Featured Creative Islands (15)
- Deal damage to opponents with Assault Rifles or Pistols (500)
- Search chests or ammo boxes at a motel or an RV park (7)
- Place Top 15 in Duos with a friend (3)
- Regain health from a campfire in different matches (3)
As mentioned, given challenges will last up to February 27. So, we can expect Season 7 to end February 28. On the other hand, we are expecting Fortnite season 8 to begin on the same day.
