Realme Smartphones 2018

Focusing on the budget smartphones, Realme started with the launch of Realme 1. It is available at an affordable price range of Rs 8,990 to Rs 13,990. It is one of the best-looking smartphones in the budget section. However, the software and hardware were not that impressive.

Further, the brand came up with Realme 2 and Realme 2 Pro. Realme 2 is its first smartphone with notch display which comes under Rs 10,000. It sports fingerprint sensor at the back, as well as Smart Lock, unlike its predecessor.

A month later, Realme 2 Pro was launched in three variants. It holds a price tag of Rs 17,990. Its camera is also capable of AI scene recognition. Alongside, it comes with a teardrop notch display. Realme C1 entered the market along with Realme 2 Pro. The phone comes with a 6.2 inch notched display, glossy layer of plastic at the back panel. Further, The Phone runs on a Snapdragon 450 chipset, which is an Octa-core one coupled with 2GB of RAM.

Realme U1 is the first smartphone launched after revealing its new brand identity. Moreover, it is also the first one to house a MediaTek Helio P70 chipset. The brand announced it in November 2018 with a 25-MP front camera at a price starting from Rs 11,999.

In order to Target the youth population across the world, Realme unveiled its new logo. The tweet read, ‘It’s not just a new logo! It’s a new us, an iconic visual identity designed for the young!’. The Yellow color used in the logo represents power, style, modernity, and youthfulness.

Recently, the Company has announced the Android Pie update in the first half of 2019 in all the Realme smartphones.

The brand has witnessed a remarkable journey in a matter of just six months. It has grown rapidly and cemented its position for the Brand.
