Zomato Announces Its First Food And Entertainment Carnival “Zomaland”
The Restaurant search and online food delivery App, Zomato is the most popular app in the minds of people. Now it wants you to think of them whenever you think food. For this, it is ready to make its entry into the experiential events space. Zomato has recently announced ‘Zomaland Carnival’ to be held in January 2019.
What Is Zomaland Carnival All About?
According to Deepinder Goyal, founder of Zomato sent out a tweet making the announcement for the event. It seems like Zomaland will be a grand event. The company said the festival will also feature things like games, photo booths, street performances, and more. It will be similar to the Grub Fest which is India’s Premier Food Festival.
“We view ourselves as a food company which aims at giving users the best food experience – online as well as offline… The introduction of Zomaland is a step forward towards our goal of ‘better food for more people’,” Zomato COO Gaurav Gupta said in a statement.
Zomaland will feature over 100 “hand-picked” eateries in three cities with eight food zones. Moreover, Zomato says the carnival will allow people to taste local and international cuisine and have a lot of entertainment options.
Zomaland Carnival: When And Where?
The event will be held in three cities. Zomaland carnival will be held in Delhi, Pune, and Bengaluru.
Zomaland Event Dates:
Following are the dates on which event will take place
Jan 18 – Jan 20: Delhi
Feb 8 – Feb 10: Pune
Mar 1 – Mar 3: Bengaluru
Zomato created a twitter handle to make the announcement. It means that this isn’t going to be a one-time event. We are expecting the Company to organize Zomaland Carnival in other locations where Zomato has operations.
