Motorola’s Moto G7 Family Offers Full-Screen Faces With Slim Bezels

With Moto G7 Series, Motorola Toughens The Competition In Mid-Range Segment?

Motorola unveils new Moto G7-series of smartphones at an event in Brazil, on Thursday. The four member’s series include Moto G7, Moto G7 Plus, G7 Play, and G7 Power. The lineup claims to offer all-day battery life and improved camera performance. The phones will first go on sale in Brazil and Mexico, followed by countries like India, North America, Latin America, and Europe.

Moto G7 Series Price And Availability

The new lineup, launched in the mid-range segment, starts at a price of Rs. 14,200 and go up to Rs 24,500. Moto G7 Plus carries the highest price tag whereas, Moto G7 Play is the cheapest among all. Coming on to the other two devices, G7 Power carries a price tag of Rs 17,800 while G7 of Rs 21,300. All four phones are first going on sale in Brazil and Mexico. However, the devices will roll out globally in mid-February, probably. As per reports, G7 Power is coming to India in the next few weeks, however, launch for other devices remains unclear.

Moto G7 Features And Specs

Starting with features and specs, G7 features 6.24-inch full-HD+ Max Vision display with waterdrop notch offering 19:9 aspect ratio and a screen resolution of 1080×2270 pixels. The device is powered by octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 632 SoC. Further, It packs 4GB of RAM, 64GB of inbuilt storage, and microSD card slot (up to 128GB). Alongside, you will get a 3,000mAh battery.

A dual-camera setup on the rear panel comes with a 12-megapixel primary sensor with an f/1.8 lens and 5-megapixel secondary sensor with an f/2.2 lens. On the front, There is an 8-megapixel sensor with an f/2.2 lens.

Moto G7 Power Features And Specs

The second device in Moto G7 series comes with a slightly smaller screen than above mentioned. The phone packs 5,000mAh battery on-board, a major highlight of the device. The company claims that it will last for 55 hours i.e. you can use it for more than two days with a single charge. Additionally, the phone features 32GB of inbuilt storage with 3GB of RAM, and octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 632 SoC clocked at 1.8GHz.

As far as the optic features are concerned, It includes a 12-megapixel single rear camera with an f/2.0 lens as well as an 8-megapixel front shooter with an f/2.2 lens.

Moto G7 Plus Features And Specs

Featuring the same screen size as G7 (6.4-inch), it packs Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 636 SoC, clocked at 1.8GHz, with 4GB of RAM, and 3,000mAh battery. Further, 64GB of internal storage can be expanded using the microSD card slot up to 512GB.

The rear camera comes with a 16-megapixel primary sensor and 5-megapixel secondary sensor. There is a 12-megapixel with an f/2.0 lens on the front.

Moto G7 Play Features And Specs

Lastly, Moto G7 Play is the cheapest model in the Moto G7 series. It features a 5.7-inch Max Vision screen with HD+ (720×1512 pixels) resolution. The phone is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 632 SoC, coupled with 2GB RAM. The 32GB of inbuilt storage can be expanded via microSD card slot up to 128GB. Moving further, It packs a 3,000mAh battery. The last model in Moto G7 series comes with a single 13-megapixel shooter on the rear panel with an f/2.0 lens and an 8-megapixel selfie camera on the front with an f/2.2 lens.
