Huawei Yearbook 2018: Brand’s Lookback Journey Of The Year By ThinkingTech

One of the fastest growing brands, Huawei along with its sub-brand Honor has a remarkable journey in 2018. As per the reports, it crosses the 200 million smartphone sales this year. We have brought you the Huawei Yearbook 2018; a go-through journey of the year to have a look at.

Huawei along with its sub-brand Honor launched a slew of smartphones in 2018. Huawei started with the launch of Honor 9 lite in January, following with Huawei P11 and P20. Along with that, The Company unveiled the World’s first triple camera smartphone named, Huawei P20 Pro. Huawei P20 and P20 Pro are among the best smartphones launched by the brand this year. Both The smartphones were released in four attractive colors: Black, midnight blue, pink gold, and twilight.

Furthermore, it came up with Honor 7S, Honor 8e Youth, Honor Play 7, Huawei Y5 Prime, Honor 10 and more. Honor 9N, released in July 2018 is the most searched smartphone in 2018. It is a mid-range smartphone, price starting from Rs.11,999. The device is somewhat similar to Honor 9 Lite.

The list does not end here. Leading further launches of Huawei Nova 3 and Nova 3i. The former device comes with the flagship HiSilicon Kirin 970 SoC plus a 3,750mAh whereas, the later houses with a HiSilicon Kirin 710 SoC plus also a 3,340mAh battery. Moreover, Both the smartphones sport a Dual camera setup in rear and front as well. Honor 8C and Honor 10 lite add on to the Huawei smartphones 2018.

Majority of the devices comes with a traditional notch display except Honor 10 lite which has a teardrop notch. But the Company ditched the notch display by launching Huawei Nova 4, second punch-hole camera smartphone.

One of the major highlights for Huawei Yearbook 2018 is that Honor unveiled a new logo on the occasion of its fifth anniversary. The new logo was revealed in order to mark its tremendous growth in more vibrant gradient colors than before.

The brand revealed its Matebook X Pro in MWC 2018. It is trimmed notebook (Weight: 2.93 pounds) but remains heavier than the number of ultra mobile notebooks nowadays. It is powered by 1.8GHz Intel Core i7-8550U (quad-core, 8MB cache, up to 4.0GHz) and in terms of graphics, it comes with Intel UHD Graphics 620, Nvidia GeForce MX150 (2GB GDDR5). The Huawei Matebook X Pro comes at a price starting from Rs.84,000(approx).

Alongside Huawei also released Honor Band A2 with an embedded heart rate sensor. It comes at a price of Rs.2,499 in India. The Brand even launched wireless earbuds named FreeBuds 2 Pro With Bone Conduction Technology. The pair of earbuds come with wireless charging support. The BoneID technology enables them to recognize the user with a mix of voice and bone sound pattern recognition.
