Nokia Yearbook 2018: Let’s Have A Look On Nokia’s Journey In 2018

In MWC 2018, Nokia unveiled a slew of new devices which consist of Nokia 6, Nokia 7 Plus, Nokia 1 Android Go, etc. Nokia 8110 4G was released with a Google Assistant at MWC 2018.

One of the best Nokia’s smartphones for this year is 8 Sirroco. The premium smartphone is powered by 1.9GHz octa-core Snapdragon 835 with GPU Adreno 540, 16M colors and stretches to 5.5 inches screen. Moreover, it comes without a notch. When it comes to its camera, Nokia says Be less Selfie. Be more #Bothie”. That means it helps you to click pictures using both front and rear cameras simultaneously. The key features of the phone are, it is waterproof and even supports wireless charging.

Further launches consist of Nokia 9 and Nokia 8 Pro. Nokia 9 is the Company’s first phone to acquire an in-display fingerprint detector. The next launches by Nokia include Nokia X6 and X5. Both the smartphones come with a notch-display.

Then comes the Nokia A1 Plus which was launched at IFA 2018. The smartphone is powered with the Snapdragon 845 SoC. It comes packed with 8GB RAM, 256GB storage, 3900mAh battery, the 6.01-inch screen with Gorilla Glass 5 security, a double camera installation, and an in-glass fingerprint reader.

Nokia’s Launch Event In Dubai 

Now coming on to the launch event which held on December 5 in Dubai. The Company launched the Nokia 8.1 as a budget smartphone. Nokia 8.1 features HDR10 to support screen resolution. It also offers a Zeiss-branded dual camera setup on the back. Along with that Nokia 7.1 was also released. This smartphone comes at a price starting from Rs.19,999. Same as 8.1, it also comes with Zeiss-backed dual rear-camera and HDR 10 display.
