According to the reports by XDA Developer, Samsung might be working on a low-light camera. It may be named as Bright Night Mode. They discovered the code in the latest Android Pie build for Samsung’s Galaxy Note 9 which suggests the company is working on a new night photography mode called Bright Night mode. Moreover, it will allow users to take bright pictures even in very dark conditions.

However, Samsung is not the first to work on the low-light camera. Huawei is the first one to introduce this feature called ‘night mode’ in its Huawei P20. Later, Google released ‘night sight’ for its Pixel smartphones. Furthermore, OnePlus and Xiaomi has their own low-light camera mode for their smartphones named, ‘Nightscape’ and ‘NightScene’ respectively.

Text in the code suggests the mode will work similar to Night Sight, taking multiple shots and using software to combine them together.
