Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 Price In India Starts At Rs 9,999: Excludes 48-MP Camera

Chinese based smartphone manufacturer, Xiaomi just launched two smartphones at an event in New Delhi. Although, the devices were introduced in China last month as the first smartphone of the newly established Redmi sub-brand. The Company has made some changes while launching Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 in India, foregoing the 48-megapixel camera.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 Price In India 

The Redmi Note 7 carries a price tag of Rs 9,999 for the 3GB + 32GB version. Whereas, The 4GB + 64GB variant comes at a price of Rs. 11,999. The Company will be offering the Redmi Note 7 in three color options – Onyx Black, Ruby Red, and Sapphire Blue.

The smartphone will first go for sale on March 6, scheduled at 12 pm IST. However, The devices will initially be offered via Mi.com, Flipkart, and Mi Home stores. Later, It will become available via selected offline retail stores.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 Features And Specifications

Coming on to the Redmi Note 7 Specifications, it features a 6.3-inch full-HD+ screen with 19.5:9 aspect ratio, and waterdrop-style notch. Alongside, It has Gorilla Glass 5 for protection. The phone is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 660 octa-core SoC. You can expand 32GB/ 64GB of inbuilt storage via microSD card slot up to 256GB. The company has added a 4,000mAh battery with Quick Charge 4.0 support.

Moving to the Redmi Note 7 Camera, You will get a 12-MP sensor instead of the 48-MP sensor. And, 2-MP secondary sensor in place of 5-MP.

On the front, There is a 13-megapixel onboard – the same as the China variant. The company claims that it uses artificial intelligence (AI) to offer a better portrait mode, smart beauty features, and scene recognition support.

Furthermore, The smartphone has a rear fingerprint sensor, USB Type-C port, 3.5mm audio jack, and dual-SIM support. If we talk about the connectivity, the Redmi Note 7 comes with Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.0, and Infrared. On the software front, the phone runs on Android 9 pie.
