Lenovo Z5 Pro GT Launched With Snapdragon 855 Chipset, Latest Chipset By Qualcomm
Qualcomm introduced its latest Snapdragon 855 chipset in the event held in Hawaii on December 5. Within a few days, World’s first smartphone with the same chipset, Lenovo Z5 Pro GT has been announced. It is a successor to Lenovo Z5 Pro which was unveiled the previous month.
The upcoming trends involve a punch-hole camera, an alternative to a bezel-less and notch-less displays. While Lenovo’s latest smartphone comes with a slider camera. Moreover, Lenovo’s latest device aims to be a true beast in every department possible whether it be a new chipset, 12GB RAM or ZUI 10.0 based on Android 9 Pie software.
Lenovo Z5 Pro GT Price And Availability
The Lenovo Z5 Pro GT price has been set at 2,698 yuan (Rs.27,700 approx) in China for the 6GB RAM + 128GB internal storage variant. While the variant with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage comes at a price of 3,398 yuan(Rs.41,100 roughly). Alongside the two variants, its high-end variant with 12GB RAM + 512GB storage comes at a price of 4,398 yuan (Rs.45,100 approx).
These devices will go on sale from January 24. However, all the variants will be available for pre-orders from January 15. Details about the global launch of the Lenovo Z5 Pro GT are not yet official.
Lenovo Z5 Pro GT Features And Specifications
The latest Android smartphone features a 6.39-inch display with a screen resolution of 2340 x 1080pixels and 95.06% screen-to-body ratio. As mentioned above, It is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 855 chipset based on the 7nm process. The phone runs ZUI 10.0 based on Android 9 Pie.
It comes packed with 3,350mAh battery. On the storage front, The smartphone comes with 128GB/216GB/512GB internal storage along with 6GB/8GB/12GB RAM. All these variants measure 155.12 x 73.04 x 9.3mm and weigh 210 grams.
CAMERA FEATURES
The Lenovo Z5 Pro GT sports a dual rear camera with a 16-megapixel Sony IMX519 sensor (f/1.8 aperture), a 24-megapixel Sony IMX576 sensor(f/1.8 aperture) and LED flash. On the front, it has a slider structure dual camera setup with 16-MP and 8-MP sensors.
CONNECTIVITY FEATURES
Coming on to the connectivity features, the smartphone includes 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS/ A-GPS, NFC, and USB Type-C.
Sensors onboard include an ambient light sensor, hall sensor, electronic compass, gravity sensor, gyroscope, and a proximity sensor. Furthermore, There is an in-display fingerprint sensor to unlock the smartphone.
Along with Lenovo Z5 Pro GT, Lenovo unveiled a lower-end Z5S phone. Lenovo Z5S comes with a Snapdragon 710 SoC, up to 6GB RAM,128GB storage and triple rear camera like Oppo R17 Pro. It has been launched at a price starting from Rs.15,000(approx).
