Snapchat Launches Lens Challenge Feature With “Jingle Bells” Singalong Act And More
Challenges on TikTok, Instagram etc witness that people like to engage in online trends. In order to increase user engagement with the app, Snapchat launches a new feature called Lens Challenges. Along with increasing user engagement, Company believes that it will also increase its audience.
The company introduced theme-based challenges that incorporate a special Snapchat Lens. The first challenge is tied to the holiday season. It enables users to select a specific Lens that will allow them to sing a version of “Jingle Bells” performed by Gwen Stefani. Furthermore, other lenses can be featured by the app’s community.
How To Access Snapchat’s New Lens Challenges?
Using Snapchat New Lens challenge feature is not that difficult. You just have to click the emoji icon next to the shutter button after opening the updated app. From there you can look for the new challenge options.
Once you tap the option, you can record your challenge and send to others. Or even you can add it to your Story or to the global Lens Challenge Story. Moreover, you can share it in private chats too if you do not want to make it public. With the help of challenge interface in the Lens explorer, you can view Lens Challenges from other users without having to actually compete.
However, some you may not be able to find the option as the new lens challenge feature has been just rolled out. It could take some time to roll out to all users, So you can keep checking over the coming days.
The new Snapchat update might be interesting for users, but this is not unique at all Because of platforms like Instagram, TikTok, YouTube etc, which have already introduced these kinds of features long ago.
