Sleek Metal Body Of New Samsung Galaxy Tab S5e Stands At Just 5.5mm, Thinnest And Lightest Of All

South Korean giant, Samsung, expands its product lineup with the launch of two new Android tablets – Samsung Galaxy Tab S5e and Galaxy Tab A 10.1. Out of the two, Former is the premium tablet – carries a price tag of Rs 28,500. On the other hand, the price for Tab A 10.1 is set at Rs 17,000 (approx).

Samsung is one of those OEMs which tends to be a bit repetitive when it comes to designing a particular line up. However, It keeps on pumping new devices in the market. Surprisingly, The upcoming Samsung Galaxy Tab S5e is likely to shake things up. It has got a new design with a super-slim metal body. The thinnest tablet in the Company’s portfolio is reminiscent of the latest iPad Pro. Alongside, it has an unputdownable description which makes us feel like it is likely to take on Apple’s iPad soon.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S5e Features And Specifications

The new tablet comes with a 10.5-inch WQVGA Super AMOLED display with a screen resolution of 2560×1600, 16:10 aspect ratio along with thin bezels on all four sides. It’s just 5.5mm thin, which is an outrageous reduction in thickness when compared to previous devices. Not only the thickness but Samsung brings down the weight – just 399g from 482g on S4. The Company manages to cram in a hefty 7,040mAh despite going for that extreme portability. This claims to provide you with good 14.5 hours on a charge.

Further, Samsung Galaxy Tab S5e is powered by the Snapdragon 670 SoC and 4GB RAM/64GB storage. The small processor may not support multi-tasking as effectively, one area which we feel Brand has sacrificed. It will be available in three colors – Black, Gold, and silver.

Galaxy Tab S5e Is The First One To Come With Bixby Assistant

With the help of Bixby 2.0, you can have access to Quick Commands to alter settings or start apps, control SmartThings and a lot more. What makes it more interesting is — the audio can be optimized depending on whether you’re holding it in landscape or portrait orientation. Additionally, there’s Dolby Atmos support with AKG audio enhancements too.

Coming on to the device’s availability, both the tablets – S5e and A 10.1 are likely to hit the market in Q2 of 2019.
