Ming-Chi Kuo Talks About Upcoming Apple’s Lineup 2019
Ming-Chi Kuo has released an analyst note via 9to5Mac and MacRumors with his predictions across Apple’s lineup of devices. Barely two months into 2019, we already have a credible look at their entire product lineup of the year. As per the reports, Apple is set to have a busy year of product launches in 2019. Let’s have a look at Apple’s plan revealed by reliable analyst Ming-Chi Kuo.
Bilateral Wireless Charging And Bigger Batteries In iPhone 2019
2019 iPhones will have the same screen sizes as its predecessors. Which means iPhone XI Max will likely sport 6.5-inch OLED display. Whereas, iPhone XI and iPhone XIR will feature 5.8-inch OLED and 6.1 LCD displays respectively. Additionally, it will retain a lightning connector instead of USB Type-C. For now, Apple is likely to stick to the notch display.
Talking about the major changes, the iPhones will have bigger batteries, ultra-wideband (UWB) for indoor positioning and navigation, and a frosted glass back. Following the major smartphone trend, Company is likely to launch triple-camera setup. Which model would get a triple-camera setup remains unclear. If previous reports turn out to be true, iPhone XI will be the one to have triple camera setup on the back.
Further, Kuo believes upcoming models will feature “bilateral” wireless charging. This concept means that the iPhone would be able to charge other devices wirelessly. Just like you saw on Huawei Mate 20 Pro and will see in Galaxy S10+, probably.
MacBook Pro (16-inch) And 6K Monitor (31-inch)
The next up in Apple’s lineup 2019 is 16-inch MacBook Pro. It is assumed to have a new design, Maybe slimmer bezels around the display and more ports. We do not have much information about the same though. Further, The 13-inch MacBook Pro could get a 32GB RAM variant. Additionally, a new 31-inch 6K display with 6,144 x 3,072 resolution will also be launched, bringing in outstanding picture quality.
Wireless Charging Support In AirPods 2
You must have heard about the release of AirPods 2. Now It seems like the Company will finally launch the pair that too with wireless charging support and upgraded Bluetooth connectivity.
Kuo, further, goes on to claim that we may finally see AirPower hitting retail shelves alongside the 7th iPod Touch with an upgraded processor. It will probably ship in the first half of 2019. Moving further in Apple’s lineup 2019, there are some changes in smartwatches as well. The upcoming smartwatch will be available in a new ceramic case finish.
