From the last couple of months, There is a buzz all over about 5G whether it be for a smartphone, PCs and now routers. The CES 2019 is not yet started but it is expected to see 5G as a major tech theme of the year. D-Link is planning to launch its first 5G wifi router at the big trade show 2019.
The DWR-2010 5G NR router will pick up the 5G networks. Moreover, It claims to deliver speed to your home as fast as 3Gbps, more than 40 times faster than the average broadband speed in the US. Further, the DWR-2010 is expected to support both the sub-6 GHz and mmWave portions of the 5G standard. The upcoming Wifi router will be easy to set up, It will let you create a home WiFi network with just a SIM card and electricity as well.
