Halo games will soon arrive on PC and Steam with Master Chief Collection
Hello, Halo fans! There’s a good piece of news for those who majorly game on PCs. Microsoft is finally bringing classic Halo video game series to the PC. The popular sci-fi shooting game will come via Halo: The Master Chief Collection, which re-released many of the original games from the series on the Xbox in 2014. However, the creator of the Xbox video game didn’t inform when the games will launch on PCs. But the company has plans to make the collection available on its Microsoft Store and Valve’s popular Steam games store.
The Master Chief Collection includes Halo: Combat Evolved, Halo 2, Halo 3, and more. Though It is set to release in a staggered manner. Halo: Reach will be the first one to release, followed by Combat Evolved, Halo 2, Halo 3, Halo 3: ODST (Campaign), and Halo 4.
I know you must be excited as one of the most popular in the gaming industry will now be available on PC. The Halo games have sold more than 65 million units and grossed more than $3 billion in sales. Microsoft further added it’ll announce release dates for each of its Halo games on PC at its official Halo website.

For now, The Steam listing for the Master Chief’s Collection is the only page live right now and it says coming soon. The description reads, “The Master Chief’s epic journey covers six Halo games, collected here in a single integrated experience built for PC. Whether you’re a long-time fan or are meeting the Master Chief for the first time, The Master Chief Collection is the definitive Halo gaming experience.”
Further, The company is even making sure that the games are in ship shape for PC with advanced keyboard, mouse controls and PC specific options like filed of view sliders. The Campaign and Firefight features will be offered as a separate digital add-on. Microsoft is even promising 60 fps gameplay with 4K / HDR support for ‘Reach’ on Xbox One X.
