Samsung Galaxy S10 Line Up Launched, Celebrates 10th Anniversary 

With the Galaxy S10, Samsung celebrates ten years of Galaxy S phone by taking premium Android phones to next level. South Korean Giant launched four devices under its flagship series: Samsung Galaxy S10, Galaxy S10+, S10e, and Galaxy S10 5G. Each of the devices is more impressive than the last. Alongside, It also launched three wearables during this event.

All the three devices sports punch-hole camera, Dynamic AMOLED displays with HDR10+ certification, Fast Wireless Charging 2.0, and Wireless PowerShare.

Samsung Galaxy S10 price starts from Rs 63,900 for the base variant. While the price for S10+ starts from Rs 71,000. The Galaxy S10E, cheapest of all, carries a price tag of Rs 53,300. All the devices will be available for sale from March 8. However, Pre-orders in India starts from tomorrow i.e. February 22.
For now, The Company has not detailed the price and availability of the 5G variant. Some report hints, Company has no plans to bring Galaxy S10 5G variant in India.

Features And Specifications

Starting up with Samsung Galaxy S10 specs, The phone features a 6.1-inch QHD+ Curved Dynamic AMOLED Infinity-O Display with a 19:9 aspect ratio. The device is powered by 7nm octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 SoC but when it comes to areas like India, the phone will be powered by the 8nm octa-core Samsung Exynos 9820 SoC. The phone will be available in two storage variants: 128GB and 512GB, which can be further expanded up to 512 GB via microSD. Additionally, it is backed by a 3,400mAh battery.

Camera Features: The triple camera setup includes a 12-MP wide-angle camera, a 12-megapixel 45-degree lens telephoto with autofocus and lastly, a 16-megapixel 123-degree ultra-wide lens camera with fixed focus and an f/2.2 aperture. Alongside, The setup also provides up to 10x digital zoom. On the front, The Company uses 10-MP sensor coupled with 2PD autofocus, an f/1.9 aperture, and 80-degree lens.

Moving further to Samsung Galaxy S10 plus, the phone comes with a larger 6.4-inch QHD+ Curved Dynamic AMOLED Infinity-O Display. It is powered by the same processors but, also features a 12GB LPDDR4x RAM option. It comes in three inbuilt storage variants – 128GB, 512GB, and 1TB. All three can be expanded up to 512GB via microSD card.

Camera Features: Samsung Galaxy S10 plus sports rear camera setup identical to the base variant. However, on the front, the smartphone features a dual selfie camera. The primary selfie camera is the same as the sensor on the Galaxy S10. While the other has an 8-megapixel fixed focus RGB depth sensor featuring an f/2.2 aperture and a 90-degree lens. It has an upper hand when it comes to the battery of 4,100mAh.

The last variant in the lineup is Samsung Galaxy S10e which has some prominent differences in comparison with the other two devices. It features a much smaller 5.8-inch full-HD+ Flat Dynamic AMOLED Infinity-O Display. While it comes in the same processor options. The stripped down version will be available with choices of 6GB and 8GB of RAM.

As far as the optic features are concerned, the Galaxy S10e features a dual rear camera setup instead of a triple rear camera setup. The first is a 12-megapixel camera with a 77-degree wide-angle lens while the second is a 16-megapixel fixed focus camera. The selfie camera is the same as the base variant.

Samsung Galaxy S10 5G: Deluxe Edition

South Korean Giant also unveiled the 5G variant besides the three devices. It features a 6.7-inch display. The 5G variant comes with four cameras on the rear panel and two on the front. The Galaxy S10 5G also has a 4,500-mAh battery. The phone consists of 256GB of storage with 8GB RAM. The 5G phone is the only Galaxy S10 model that doesn’t have a microSD card slot.

The prices have not been made official yet. Anyways, The Company has no such plans to bring this device in India. But, for all of you who are interested in S10 lineup, can order a device. As Pre-orders are starting from February 22.
