Samsung Launches Galaxy Buds To Rival Apple’s Airpods

At an Unpacked event in San Fransisco, South Korean Giant launched a bunch of new accessories besides Galaxy S10 lineup. The Samsung Galaxy Buds are the true wireless earbuds. The successor to Gear Icon X is an answer to Apple AirPods.

What you want while choosing the best earbuds? If I am not wrong anyone could seek better performance, noise isolation, and battery life but most importantly reasonable price. Most of the manufacturers undoubtedly deliver quality but they’ve done it at a higher price and with a much larger charging case. This time, Samsung is trying to win, keeping price and quality in balance.

Samsung Galaxy Buds Features 

The new true wireless earbuds feature 5.8pi dynamic driver in each earbud. In terms of connectivity, The Samsung Galaxy Buds use Bluetooth 5.0. Further, They feature 58mAh battery in each earbud. The Company claims to deliver up to 5 hours of calling, or up to 6 hours of music playback on a single charge. The charging case features a 252mAh battery, delivering a boost of up to 7 hours. It further increases music playback time to 13 hours and talking time to 11 hours, Samsung claims. The charging case can deliver up to 1.7 hours of playback with a 15-minute charge.

Each earbud weighs 5.6 grams, so you may not misplace it. While the case comes with a weight of 39.6 grams. Touch sensors are there to control playback and taking calls. The charging case is powered by USB Type-C. The Galaxy Buds are compatible with Android devices running v5.0 or higher, requiring 1.5GB of RAM or more.

Unlike Apple Airpods, Samsung has been aggressive toward its pricing. The Samsung Galaxy Buds price will be Rs. 9,200 which makes it Rs 3000 (approx) cheaper than Airpods. Further, They will be available from March 8, availability in India remains unclear. The Galaxy Buds will come in Black, White, and Yellow color variants.
