Asus Is Ready To Launch Zenfone Max Pro M2; A Budget Smartphone With Three Cameras
After the tweet by Roland Quandt, a smartphone with the name ZenFone Max Pro M2 from Asus with a model name of ASUS_X01BD_1 has been published to the Google Play Console’s device catalog.
Zenfone Max Pro M2 will be the successor of ZenFone Max Pro M1 which was launched in April 2018. It was one of the best budget phones of the year with Qualcomm Snapdragon 636, up to 6GB RAM/64GB storage, a 5.99-inch 1080×2160 LCD, dual 13+5MP rear cameras, 5,000mAh battery, and near stock Android 8.1 Oreo.
EXPECTED FEATURES AND SPECIFICATIONS
According to the leaks and Google console listing; here are the expected features of the latest smartphone which Asus is planning to launch:
It is said to come with a display of 6-inch full HD display along with 4/6 GB RAM and 32GB/ 64GB onboard storage which can be expanded up to 256 GB.
It runs on Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 MSM8956 chipset, Android 8.1 Oreo and said to have 5,000mAh Li-ion battery.
As for the connectivity, the options include 4G with VoLTE, mobile hotspot, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, and USB type-C.
It may sport a triple camera setup with the combination of 13MP + 8MP + 5MP rear lenses and 13MP front shooter with features like Digital Zoom, Auto Flash, Face detection, Touch to focus.
As per the assumptions the smartphone will be of mid-range as compared to its predecessor. It will launch most probably on December 11 in Indonesia; as witnessed in a tweet by ASUS Indonesia. As for now the launch date for India has not been revealed yet.
Though it has been mentioned that all the information is provided by a manufacturer which may or may not be true. However past pieces of information were ended up being true. Till the time we can wait for the official words by ASUS on it.
