Energizer’s phone with massive 18000mAh battery, futuristic foldable phones, 1TB microSD card are the game changers of the month

Hello Folks! In case you have missed out something, We are here with monthly game changers. Last month, we bought some innovative tech beyond just launches. But this time, most of the Brands are seen doing experiments with smartphones. Not just the top brands like Samsung, Huawei and Nokia are seen doing the same but the battery making Company, Energizer has done something which can’t be ignored. So, Let’s begin with our game changers of the month:

Foldable Phones are on the verge to be mainstream

Samsung Galaxy Fold vs Huawei Mate X

It seems like 2019 is going to be the year of the foldable phones. We’ve already seen some futuristic devices – like the Samsung Galaxy Fold and the Huawei Mate X. The foldable war is on! However, both brands have used different designs.

Samsung Galaxy Fold – game changer of the month – folds inwards like a book. The device features a large 7.3-inch tab display and regular thick 4.6-inch display – which has two huge bezels that make it look ugly. In terms of specs, Galaxy fold is powered by 7nm octa-core processor coupled with 12GB of RAM and 512 GB local storage. Further, it is backed by two batteries which offer a total capacity of 4,380mAh.

Now coming on to Huawei, Samsung’s Rival: Huawei Mate X is thinner, has a bigger screen and folds flatter in comparison with its competitor. Unlike Galaxy fold, it has a reverse method to combine the rear panel. In terms of specs, it is powered by HiSilicon Kirin 980 SoC, coupled with 8GB RAM and 512GB local storage. Both the smartphones are really, really expensive. Galaxy Fold price is set at Rs 1.41 lakhs while the Mate X costs Rs 2.09 lakhs.

Nokia Brings not two, not three but five rear cameras

Maybe in the thought of doing something crazy and unique, the Company unveils Nokia 9 Pureview with five cameras. Now if you are thinking about why it looks like seven in the ring, then I must tell you that One spot is a flash, and the other is a time-of-flight sensor for depth mapping. Is it worth considering it in game changers of the month? It seems overkill when I see upcoming phones though, it is the major highlight of the device.

Energizer happens to have a phone in massive 18000mAh battery

If you are tired of battery drainage or forget to carry a power bank then you must have a look at ‘Energizer P18K Pop’ which offers you 18000mAh battery. This giant battery lasts up to 50 days (approximately). But will you give up your current device for a brick looking phone? Yes, brick looking! The phone is 18mm thick. In order to generalize, it is equivalent to 3 or 3.5 iPhone.

In terms of features and specs, the fattest phone features 6.2-inch notch-less screen, 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. The device runs on Mediatek’s Helio P70 chip and comes with Android 9.0. It even sports a triple rear camera with 12-MP + 5-MP + 2-MP sensors along with 16-MP + 2-MP pop-up camera for selfies. But I still can’t get over its size!

MWC has been quite interesting this year. Not just the phones but microSD cards are on our list of game changers of the month. Western Digital’s SanDisk And Micron launched their 1TB microSD cards. But do we really need it? If you are a photographer then you probably need it. Or even if you own a Nintendo switch then it will help you store lots of games.

Along with more storage, SanDisk claims to provide more speed as well. It claims to be a little faster with up to 160MB/s read speeds and up to 90MB/s write speeds. The SanDisk Extreme microSDXC UHS-I 1TB microSD card will cost you Rs. 32,000. Micron has, however, not given any words on its pricing yet.
