Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 Plus has 15% more graphics power

Qualcomm has upped the game even further by announcing an upgraded version of its flagship 855 chipset. The all-new Snapdragon 855 Plus is a mid-cycle refresh to the current-gen flagship SoC. This new SoC is focused on providing better GPU performance and also slight CPU prowess over the regular 855 chipset.

The new snapdragon 855 plus chipset is overclocked at 2.96 GHz whereas the stock variant is clocked at 2.84 GHz. This might not seem to deliver significant improvement in CPU performance which is pegged at just 4.2%. However, the Adreno 640 is supercharged to deliver 15% better graphics performance over the stock version.
