Oppo F5 With 20-MegaPixel: Chinese handset maker Oppo on Thursday unveiled its latest selfie-focused smartphone, the Oppo F5, which is the successor to the Oppo F3. The brand new Oppo smartphone, similar to previous handsets, focuses on selfies and includes artificial intelligence (AI) attractiveness technology incorporated with the front camera. With bezels across the screen, the Oppo F5 sports an all-screen front after the current trend of smartphones. It is set to launch in India on November 2.
The Oppo F5 is currently up for pre-orders in the Philippines and comes in storage versions and two RAM. The 4GB RAM and 32GB storage Oppo F5 has been priced at PHP 15,990 (roughly Rs. 20,000) and comes in Gold and Black colors. Though the pricing hasn’t yet been announced thus far another 6GB RAM and 64GB storage variant has been announced in Red color. We can expect it to be revealed once the handset goes on sale in the Philippines.
Among the highlights being marketed heavily by the company is. The business states, “With more than 200 positioning areas, the F5 accentuates your facial temples and shapes to enhance the symmetry between features like your lips, eyes, cheekbones, and jawline to create the perfectly elegant and organic selfie. Its beauty-iris tool guarantees that your eyes will shine brighter in any photo.” The camera is promised to comprehend if there is a backdrop light or may add portraits for selfies and luminance together. The camera is also capable of clicking pictures with a Bokeh effect.
Starting with the front camera, Oppo F5 sports a 20-megapixel sensor in the front which comes with f/2.0 aperture. In the rear is a 16-megapixel back camera with f/1.8 aperture and LED flash. The Oppo F5 comes with a 6-inch TFT screen with full-HD+ display resolution of 1080×2160 pixels. The handset supports double cards and packs another microSD card slot. The Oppo F5 is powered by an octa-core MediaTek (MT6763T) chip coupled with 4GB/ 6GB RAM. It supports expandable storage through microSD card (around 256GB). The handset runs on the company’s ColorOS 3.2 based on Android 7.1 Nougat. It measures 156.5x76x7.5mm and weighs in at 152 g. A battery that was 3200mAh backs it.
