Apple WWDC 2017: Show begins today
Apple this year is celebrating the tenth anniversary of the iPhone and It’s just a day to go for one of Apple’s biggest events of the year. Apple WWDC 2017 developers conference in California. In its keynote address, set to begin at 10 AM PDT (10:30 pm IST), the company is expected to launch a host of hardware products, alongside the regular software announcements as well.
WWDC has been a software show with the company showcasing the upcoming version of its iOS operating system. But this year, speculations are huge that Apple may make some big announcements on hardware front as well. Rumors suggest that the company will unveil new MacBooks, iPad Pro, Siri-Smart Speaker and more.
iPad Pro: Apple is widely speculated to launch its rumored 10.5-inch iPadPro at WWDC conference on Monday, June 5. Rumors point to a sleek design with slim bezels, with the 10.5-inch variant being only slightly taller and wider than the 9.7-inch iPad Pro. There’s little else we know about the device as of now.
MacBook updates: Apple will also be refreshing its MacBook lineup, with updates lined up for 12-inch MacBook, the MacBook Pro, and the almost forgotten MacBook Air as well. First coming to the MacBook Pro upgrade, Apple has been tipped to update the laptop with Intel’s Kaby Lake processor series, from the current SkyLake processors.

It remains to be seen if Apple refreshes all three laptops that it launched last year or will just update the MacBook Pro model with Touch Siri-controlled speaker, and it could take the wraps off as soon as Monday when the company kicks off its Worldwide Developers Conference in San Jose. Even though it’s late to the smart speaker craze, Apple’s beloved brand and fan base could help it grab a sizable chunk of the growing market, analysts say.
