Instagram Adds ‘Walkie-Talkie’- Voice Message Feature To Its DMs
One of the most popular social networking platforms, Instagram is not just limited to photo sharing as earlier. Gradually, Instagram is widening itself in terms of features. Recently, It brings a voice message feature just like Facebook. However, Facebook introduced the same feature to its messenger platform a long time back in 2013.
Instagram Voice Message Feature
Instagram’s voice message feature helps you to send audio messages to your friends in DMs. This feature is similar to WhatsApp and Facebook’s audio feature. It enables you to send an audio message up to one minute long, both in private chats and groups.
How To Use Instagram’s Voice Message Feature?
The walkie-talkie is not at all difficult to use. Once you get the update, you will find a microphone symbol in the chat box. Just hold the microphone button and record the message, Let me remind you that a message can be recorded up to one minute only. Once you release the button, a message will automatically be sent.
The best part is, You can delete a message if you don’t feel like sending the message or it was done by mistake. This feature is available for both Android and iOS users.
To recall, a few days back Instagram introduced close friend feature. The close friend update enables you to share your stories with your close friends. First, You have to select the friends out your followers’ list. Then, While sharing a story, select a green start which depicts a close friend list.
There are many people in your followers’ list with whom you do not want to share each and every moment. So, This feature helps you maintain some privacy.
