Garmin Instinct Rugged GPS Watch Built to Withstand the Toughest Environments

Garmin has launched the Garmin Instinct, a highly durable GPS adventure watch designed to be not only informative but tough enough to withstand all the elements. Garmin Instinct Rugged comes at $299.99 (Rs. 22,188.76) on Amazon.

Instinct is a strong and very durable that has an integrated 3-axis compass and barometric altimeter. The wearable supports GLONASS, GPS, & Galileo positioning systems as well as sensor for capturing heart rate via the wrist; it also features an ABC sensor, integrated sports apps, smart connectivity, & wellness data collection.

To keep a wearable with this much tech packed inside working in harsh climates, Garmin built the Instinct to military standards (MIL-STD-810G) for thermal, shock, and water resistance. The Garmin Instinct Rugged is rated for water resistance to 100 meters and uses a fiber reinforced polymer case.

The Garmin Instinct can also receive emails and texts and is compatible with both iOS and Android. The Garmin Instinct can survive 14 days if you don’t use the GPS continuously. With GPS turned on, the company says it will last 16 hours and 40 hours if the battery-saving mode is utilised. The Garmin Instinct has a 23mm watch face, 16MB memory, and weighs 52 grams.

The Garmin Instinct Rugged comes with three different colour variants: Graphite, Tundra, & Flame Red.
