Asus ZenFone Ares has Tru2life display technology
Asus ZenFone Ares was established in Taiwan. The new version has specifications similar to previous year’s ZenFone AR. Additionally, it has a lot of features unique to provide augmented reality (AR) and virtual reality (VR) experiences. The handset also includes SonicMaster 3.0 Hi-Res Sound 384 kHz sound decoder and supports DTS Headphone with 7.1 channel assistance. Asus is promoting the handset at the Taiwanese market with a cost of TWD 9,990 (roughly Rs. 22,700). This is significantly less costly than the purchase price of this ZenFone AR which has been found in India back in July a year ago in Rs. 49,999.
The dual-SIM (Nano) Asus ZenFone Ares runs Android Nougat using ZenUI on top and comes with a 5.7-inch QHD (1440×2560 pixels) Super AMOLED display using a typical 16:9 aspect ratio. The display panel includes Tru2life technology to allow VR adventures and is accompanied by an oil-repellent coating. Underneath the hood, there’s an outdated Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 SoC, combined with 8GB of RAM. The smartphone includes a 23-megapixel camera detector on the trunk with Asus’ high-res PixelMaster 3.0 technologies on top along with also a f/2.0 aperture. The camera is capable of shooting movement tracking and thickness sensing to allow AR effects from this box. On the front, there’s an 8-megapixel sensor using a f/2.0 aperture.
For keeping articles, the Asus ZenFone Ares includes 128GB of onboard UFS 2.0 storage that’s expandable via microSD card (up to 2TB). There’s also a fingerprint sensor embedded beneath the mouse button.
