Asus ROG Phone: The New Gaming Beast Launched In India
Asus ROG phone is finally launched in India after a bit delay. Whereas, it was first unveiled globally by the company’s gaming brand Republic of Gamers (ROG) at Computex 2018 in June this year.
Asus ROG phone’s price in India is Rs 69,999 a bit costly though. But Asus thinks its ROG Phone is unlike any other gaming phone ever launched in the market.
Features And Specifications
The Asus ROG Phone is powered by a special speed-binned Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor paired with Qualcomm Adreno 630 GPU. It features a 6-inch full-HD+ AMOLED display with a screen resolution of 1080×2160 pixels. Along with that, it runs on Android v8.1.
GameCool vapor chamber cooling system will help in sustaining gaming performance, according to the Company. Moreover, The phone consists of AeroActive Cooler which clips onto the back and blows air over the phone to keep it cool.
The ROG phone comes with RAM up to 8GB, storage of 128GB / 512GB and battery capacity of 4000mAh.
The dimensions of the phone are 158.83mm x 76.16mm x 8.65mm. It weighs 200 grams.
CAMERA FEATURES
The Asus ROG phone sports a rear camera of 12MP (F1.8) + 8MP (120° wide-angle) and 8MP (F2.0) front camera.
CONNECTIVITY FEATURES
The connectivity options on the phone include WiFi 802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ad, Bluetooth 5.0, NFC, WiFi Direct, GPS, AGPS, GLONASS, BDS, and Dual SIM LTE. The phone comes with a side mounted USB Type-C port which will not create a hindrance during the gaming sessions.
Sensors onboard provided in the smartphone are Fingerprint sensor, Face recognition, Accelerator, E-Compass, Gyroscope, Proximity sensor, Ambient light sensor, and Ultrasonic sensor.
PRICE AND AVAILABILITY
Asus ROG phone has been priced at Rs. 69,999. It will be available from 29 November 2018 via Flipkart.
The Asus ROG phone will turn into a real beast when used with its accessories like GameVice joystick, TwinView Dock, ROG phone case, etc. But there are no official words given on the launch of cool accessories in India.
