Leica CL Mirrorless Camera: Leica has introduced a new mirrorless interchangeable lens camera (ILC) known as the Leica CL. Featuring a classic design, the camera boasts of many modern features such as 4K recording a massive detector and burst shooting of around 10fps. The camera will launch at the end of November. The Leica CL body in black anodised finish is priced at $2,795 (approximately Rs. 1,90,000), while the kit with all the new Prime lens (Elmarit-TL 18 mm f/2.8) will cost you $3,795 (approximately Rs. 2,58,000) and also the Vario kit (with the new Vario-Elmar-TL 18-56 mm f/3.5-5.6 lens) will set you back $3,995 (approximately Rs. 2,71,700).

The Leica CL packs at a CMOS sensor and can be powered by the Maestro II series picture processor of Leica. A number of the key criteria include an ISO assortment of RAW file support, 100-50000, 49 autofocus points, 10fps burst shooting and selection of scene and manual shooting modes. The CL also has a fixed 3-inch touchscreen display along with a built-in digital viewfinder with a 2.36 million dot resolution. You also receive an integrated Wi-Fi module for sharing pictures directly via the iOS and Android app. With the support of the L-Bayonet mount, SL-lenses can be used without an adapter on the CL.

Leica has also announced a new lens called the Elmarit-TL 18 mm f/2.8 ASPH, which currently holds the title of being the smallest wide-angle APS-C pancake lens in the marketplace. In addition to this lens, the selection of lenses now comprises three zoom lenses, which would be the Super-Vario-Elmar-TL 11-23 mm f/3.5-4.5 ASPH, Vario-Elmar-TL 18-56 millimeter f/3.5-5.6 ASPH and the APO-Vario-Elmar-TL 55-135 millimeter f/3.5-4.5 ASPH. Leica also includes three prime lenses that comprise the Summicron-TL 23 millimeter f/2 ASPH, Summilux-TL 35 millimeter f/1.4 ASPH and the APO-Macro-Elmarit-TL 60 millimeter f/2.8 ASPH.
