HMD Global Announces Nokia’s Launch Event On December 5 In Dubai
Juho Sarvikas, the Chief Product Officer at HMD Global, shared the tweet with a caption #ExpectMore to announce Nokia’s Launch Event this December.
In this event, the company is expected to launch the most expected Nokia 9, the successor of the Nokia 8 along with Nokia 8.1. Apart from that, there are chances to have a launch of one more smartphone as hinted by the teaser.
EXPECTED FEATURES OF NOKIA 9
Nokia 9 is expected to be launched with a quad-core processor(Qualcomm Snapdragon 845),5.3″ display (1440 by 2560 pixel) 4/6 GB RAM and 64GB of internal storage which cannot be expandable.
According to the rumors spread, the optic features are expected to have 22-megapixel primary camera on the rear and a 12-megapixel front camera.
It might run on Android 9.0 and be powered by a 3800mAh non-removable battery. it is tipped to be a single SIM (GSM) smartphone.
EXPECTED FEATURES OF NOKIA 8.1
Nokia 8.1 might have a display of 6.18″ (15.7 cm) display along with screen resolution of 1080 x 2246 pixels. It runs on Android v8.1 (Oreo) operating system and Octa-core (2.2 GHz, Dual-core, Kryo 360 + 1.7 GHz, Hexa Core, Kryo 360) processor.
As far as optic features are concerned its rear camera sports 13 MP + 12 MP camera and 20MP front camera. it is packed up with 4GB RAM, 64GB and 6GB RAM,64 GB storage. It is expected to have 3500mAh battery supporting USB type C.
As Nokia has already refreshed up its lined up smartphones for this year, so we can expect to have Nokia 2.1 Plus at this launch event. because this is the only smartphone which has not been refreshed.
If we consider the teaser, the launch of three smartphones is for sure. Though pricing and availability of them are not yet revealed. Dubai event may be a bang on for Nokia as witnessed by the caption #ExpectMore.
