Xiaomi Launches ‘Made In India’ Mi Power Bank 2i In Budget Range

Mi Power Bank 2i comes in two different capacities of 10,000mAh and 20,000mAh

Mi Power Bank 2i: Xiaomi today announced two new power banks in the Indian sub-continent. Dubbed the Mi Power Bank 2i, the power banks carry the ‘Made in India’ tag and have been manufactured in partnership with Hipad. The Chinese company has established its third manufacturing facility in Noida, Uttar Pradesh, after the two smartphone manufacturing plants in Sri City, Andhra Pradesh, to start manufacturing the new power bank range locally in the country in partnership with Shenzhen-based Hipad Technology.

The Mi Power Bank 2i comes in two distinct capabilities of 10,000mAh and 20,000mAh. But besides the name and the ‘Made in India’ label, the Mi Power Bank show is comparable in terms of specifications and design to the power banks. Coming to this 10,000 mAh unit’s specifications, the electricity lender boasts a cost conversion rate of 93 percent and comes with a unibody metallic layout. For connectivity, the electricity bank gets a USB port which supports fast charging and a port.

Xiaomi asserts that the electricity bank can be billed completely in 4.2 hours and that the device even includes a low-power mode which may be triggered by pressing the power button twice. The low-power mode comes in handy to control devices like the Mi Bluetooth headset and the Mi Band.

In terms of the 20,000 mAh power bank’s specs, buyers will get an ABS plastic figure that the company claims should offer a better grip. Similar to the 10,000mAh unit, the 20,000mAh electricity bank also boasts a conversion rate of 93 percent, and Xiaomi claims that the unit can be fully charged in 6.7 hours utilizing a fast charger.

The power banks will be accessible around offline chains starting this December and will probably be up for grabs from Mi Home stores and the company’s site beginning.
