Lenovo ThinkPad Launched: Lenovo’s new notebooks, ThinkPad A275 and ThinkPad A475, were on Thursday announced as being the first business laptops for the company to be powered by AMD Pro processors for multitasking power and hardware-level safety. The ThinkPad A275 starts at $869 (approximately Rs. 55,500) and will go on sale in October, although the A475 will start at $849 (roughly Rs. 54,200) and will go on sale later this month.

Aside from being powered by seventh-generation AMD Guru A12 processors, both portable laptops will possess Radeon R7-class pictures. While the base model will have a 1600×900 pixels TN panel, buyers have the options to choose up to full-HD (1920×1080 pixels) IPS displays with or without dash choice.

The ThinkPad A275 and ThinkPad A475 can match up to 16 GB of DDR4 memory. So far as portability is concerned, the A275-series weigh around 1.3lb while the A475 is somewhat heavier at 1.6kg. These laptops also include the choice for fingerprint reader and therefore are compatible with Windows Hello bioauthentication.

Connectivity options include LTE-A mobile broadband, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 4.1, two USB 3.0 Type-A interfaces, a single USB Type-C connector, an HDMI output, a Gigabit Ethernet jack, a card reader, and a headset port. The ThinkPad A275 and A475 promise to offer more than ten hours of battery life.

Aside from the ThinkPad A275 and A475 laptops, Lenovo also declared the ThinkCentre M715 Tower and Small Form Factor (SFF) versions adding to the existing M715 Tiny. The M715 series will also be equipped with AMD Guru or Ryzen Pro chips for intensive tasks such as multimedia production, graphic layout and number-crunching.

“For 25 decades, the ThinkPad brand was defined by simplicity, function, and reliability. And as the electronic transformation improvements with exponential speed, Lenovo keeps a constant quest for perfection and delivering customer choice,” explained Jerry Paradise, executive manager, Lenovo Commercial Portfolio and Product Management. “With the initiation of the new ThinkPad A series and ThinkCentre M715 we’ve combined the amazing versatility of Believe products with the multitasking power and hardware-level security of AMD PRO to meet the ever-evolving needs of our business clients.”
