Apple iCloud 2TB only in $9.99, Twice The Space At Same Price

Apple iCloud 2TB upgrades 1TB users at no extra cost

Apple iCloud 2TB: A latest new update from WWDC, Apple has to increase iCloud storage. Apple iCloud has removed the 1TB storage tier and replacing it with the 2TB tier at $9.99 (roughly Rs.650) per month.

That leaves four options for iCloud now: free 5GB of storage to every user, $0.99 per month for 50GB of storage, $2.99 per for 200GB, and $9.99 per month for 2TB. Free storage (unfortunately) is stuck at a mere 5GB for now.

The company claims that the user who purchased the 1TB plan is automatically upgraded to double the storage, that is true because I purchased the plan of 1TB is automatically upgraded. Here, you can see the mail from the Apple.

Hello Gaurav,

Thank you for keeping your most important data safely stored in iCloud.

We have good news for you — your iCloud storage has increased from 1TB to 2TB at no additional cost. Twice the storage means you can keep a lifetime’s worth of photos and videos safely stored and enjoy them from all your devices.

Your monthly price of $9.99 will remain the same, and you can start using your new 2TB iCloud storage plan today.

Comparing with competitors:-  $9.99 for 2TB of storage is a pretty good deal when compared to competitors: Google Drive and Dropbox charge a similar $9.99 per month, but for the only 1TB of storage, while Microsoft OneDrive maxes out at 1TB for $6.99 a month. Now, you can store more data, personal pictures & videos safely online.
